Der Local Heroes Österreich Sieger 2010 ist: Mother's Cake!

Vom sonnigen Westen haben sie sich durch Vor- und Zwischenrunden gekämpft, das Gebietsfinale bestritten und ihr bestes beim Österreichfinale in der ausverkauften großen Halle der Arena Wien am Sa, 29.05.10 gegeben: MOTHER'S CAKE haben sich gegen mehrere hundert Bands durchgesetzt und sind die glücklichen Sieger des LOCAL HEROES AUSTRIA 2010!

Wir gratulieren den Tirolern Mother's Cake zu ihrem Sieg und sind gespannt auf das Ergebnis der gewonnenen Studiotage der Gab Music Factory, das "hosted by" auf gotv, das Feature im XPress, den Webauftritt von Austria Design und Midnight Design, das Fotoshooting mit Peter Berger und den Band-Banner von Offlimit.at. Nicht zu vergessen: Mother's Cake werden Österreich beim Local Heroes Europafinale 2010 vertreten.

Mother's Cake wurde von Yves Krismer (Gitarre, vocals), Benedikt Trenkwalder (Bass) und Jan Haußels (Drums) im November 2008 gegründet. Durch viele und verschiedenartigste Bands beeinflusst ( the mars volta, porcupine tree, RHCP, Bootsy Collins, usw.) entsteht der unverwechselbare Sound, der eine Mischung aus Funk, Hardrock und progressiven/ psychodelischen Teilen bildet.

The winner of Local Heroes Austria is: Mother's Cake!

Mother's Cake will represent Austria at the Local Heroes European finale in 2010.

From the sunny west they have fought through preliminary and intermediate rounds, contested the area finals and gave their best at the Austrian final at the sold-out great hall of the Arena Wien on Saturday, 29th May 2010: MOTHER'S CAKE have prevailed against hundreds of bands and are the happy winners of the LOCAL HEROES AUSTRIA 2010!

We congratulate the Tyrolese Mother's Cake for their victory and look forward to the outcome of the extracted Studio Days of the Gab Music Factory, the "hosted by" on gotv, the feature in XPress, the website of Austria design and Midnight Design, the photo shoot with Peter Berger and the band banner Offlimit.at. Do not forget: Mother's Cake will represent Austria at the Local Heroes European finale 2010.

Mother's Cake was founded by Yves Krismer (guitar, vocals), Benedikt Trenkwalder (bass) and Jan Haußels (drums) in November 2008. Influenced by many and most diverse bands (the mars volta, porcupine tree, RHCP, Bootsy Collins, etc.) the unmistakable sound, which is a mixture of funk, hard rock and progressive / psychedelic parts arises.
