Willow, a six-piece rock band firmly rooted in the Flemish loam soil, skillfully explores the boundaries between pop and experiment. Willos’s colorful mix of spherical riffs, warm synths, pert drums and meaningful vocals are influenced by the different styles of the prolific late eighties. Willow’s rock songs combine overpowering wall-of-sound parts with an irresistible groove that captures both your head and hips.


Having discovered their true sound in 2007 Willow successfully continued on that new track, and starting in 2009 they have been rising towards young heroes status. Willow’s intelligent blend of musical styles got them the gold in the Flemish Brabant Rockvonk pop contest. In march 2010 they received the KBC public award and made third place in the jury’s selection at Belgium’s prestigious Humo’s Rock Rally contest, a real boost to their career.
